We purchased a living room set five years ago and unbeknownst to us, it came with a ton of pillows. Unfortunately, they were pretty hideous (we’re talking brown with frilly fringes hideous). So we just stored them in a bag in the attic until we could find a use for them.
A few years rolled around and I spotted a beautiful pillow cover that I wanted but didn’t want to pay the extra money for a pillow insert. Then it dawned on me that I had all my hideous couch pillows! Thankfully, the pillows were standard size and the frills and fringes could be hidden inside a pillow cover perfectly.
Each season, I rotate out pillow covers and it’s one of my favorite ways to add an extra layer of style and comfort to our living room!
